Description

This course works with Information Server V8.5.

This course covers QualityStage version eight. You will learn how to investigate data quality issues and perform data reengineering based on the data investigation findings. You will complete hands-on exercises to investigate, standardize, match and survive data within the context of a case study.

Objectives

•    Describe data quality within a business context
•    Investigate data issues using the Investigate function in QualityStage
•    Standardize data using US rule sets
•    Match data using unduplicate functions of QualityStage
•    Survive data
•    Use DataStage to create a file suitable for loading to a customer master
