IBM FileNet P8 Platform 4.5.1 to 5.0: New Features Workshop

Description

This course is for those whose job includes responsibility for administration and/or solution design using existing IBM FileNet P8 4.5.1 systems who wish to gain an understanding of the new features introduced into the core product by the IBM FileNet P8 Version 5.0 product release.

You work with a fully functioning IBM FileNet P8 5.0 system including Content Engine, Process Engine, Workplace XT and Content Search Engine. The new IBM Case Manager product is also available and the course includes an overview of IBM Case Manager together with a short exercise on its basic functionality.

The course is instructor led and involves both presentations and hands-on exercises where practical.

Objectives

•    Acquire an understanding and some practical experience with many of the new features added to the IBM FileNet P8 5.0 Content and Process engines
•    Gain an initial understanding and some hands-on experience of the IBM Case Manager tool

Participants

Technical professionals who are required to understand and be in a position to take advantage of the new or changed functionality offered by the P8 5.0 release.

Prerequisite(s)

You should have:
•    Practical experience with IBM FileNet P8 4.5.1 Content and Process functionality
