Description

This 3-day, instructor-led course teaches the product skills required to install, configure, and manage an IBM Business Process Manager environment.

In this course, students learn about the architecture, installation, configuration, and management of IBM Business Process Manager. Students examine the product architecture to provide contextual information for the rest of the course, and then install and configure the product. Students then define and manage user authentication and authorization, and learn how to installing and deploy snapshots to various environments. Finally, students monitor process execution and system errors using various tools.

The course uses an interactive learning environment, with hands-on demonstrations and class activities to reinforce concepts and check understanding. Lab exercises throughout the course enable hands-on experience with Business Process Manager tasks and skills.

Prerequisite(s)

Students should have experience in the following:
•    Using Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
•    Administering multi-tier business applications
•    Managing WebSphere Application Server
•    Managing a database server, such as DB2, MS SQL Server, or Oracle DB
