Description
Drive efficient utilization of your storage resources using Symmetrix Management Console (SMC) and Solutions Enabler (command line interface). Configure and manage the local and remote data replication capabilities offered by TimeFinder, SRDF, and Open Replicator.
TimeFinder/Clone operations, TimeFinder/Snap operations, SRDF/Synchronous operations, SRDF/Asynchronous operations, SRDF/AR – automated replication, Open Replicator for Symmetrix operational details.
Objectives
• Describe and perform TimeFinder/Clone and TimeFinder/Snap operations
• Describe and perform SRDF operations in Synchronous (SRDF/S) and Asynchronous (SRDF/A) modes using SYMCLI and SMC
• Describe and perform SRDF/Automated Replication (SRDF/AR) operations
• Describe and perform Open Replicator for Symmetrix (ORS) data replication in Hot/Cold, Push and Pull scenarios
